Winter the dolphin has her own Nintendo DS game! “Winter’s Tail” features a variety of educational, interactive mini-games and activities that reinforce the life lessons of the amazing true story of Winter. The games is based on the Scholastic book, Winter’s Tail: How One Little Dolphin Learned to Swim Again. This is the first time a major children’s book is being accompanied by a Nintendo DS game.
Game designers (shown in this photo with Winter’s trainers) came to CMA to meet Winter and based several of the mini-games on what they learned during their visit. For instance, game players have the opportunity to add to an actual paint stroke that was completed by Winter!
