The Otters that call CMA home
Sure, otters are small, cute, and fuzzy. What else do you know about otters? We know they are all of those things and much more! Amongst 13 species, you can find sea and river otters in almost every corner of the world and across five continents. Unfortunately, many otter species are considered threatened or endangered which is why it's such a great opportunity for the Clearwater Marine Aquarium to have three amazing otters which call CMA home.
In addition to being incredibly smart, otters are also marine mammals, just like dolphins! In fact, what makes them special is that they're the only marine mammals to have fur instead of blubber.
