Max's Tale:
Max has been a resident at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium since January 12, 1984. Max sustained a very severe head injury that unfortunately left him mostly blind, and as a result he was unable to be released. Max is hand-fed by our interns and volunteers to make sure that he receives his whole diet because he is unable to forage for food on his own. Max currently resides outside at "Sawyer's Passage", in a large pool that she shares with Madam, Molly, and Stumpy.
