DOLPHIN TERRACE
Home of Nicholas the Dolphin
Daily Presentations at 12:15pm, 2:20pm, 4:10pm
Dolphin Terrace is home to our only male resident Atlantic bottlenose dolphin, Nicholas. When Nicholas was only 6 months old his mother, Noel stranded due to a respiratory infection and he was so young, he followed her onto the beach became stranded. They both suffered from severe sunburns, and because of her severe condition Nicholas' mother passed away. Nicholas did not have enough time to learn the hunting skills needed to survive on his own in the wild and became one of our permanent residents. He is a very playful dolphin who loves toys. Watch out when visiting Dolphin Terrace though, Nicholas is known to make a pretty big splash.
