Winter Gets Special Visit from Double Amputee Ironman Athlete…

scottrigsbyWinter recently got a special visit from her new friend, Scott Rigsby. Scott is the first double amputee to complete the world-famous Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon. He is a professional speaker and counselor who has completed more than 20 triathlons. In 2007, he became the first double amputee to complete the Ford Ironman World Championship triathlon using prosthetic legs to swim, bike and run the 140.6 mile course. He is also the founder of the Scott Rigsby Foundation, a Georgia-based, non-profit organization that helps physically challenged individuals and athletes.
