Don’t Miss “All About Sea Turtles”

CMA will continue its free speaker series Thursday, November 19 with “All About Sea Turtles.” The presentation will include fascinating facts about how sea turtles are impacted by the environment and how CMA helps rescue, rehabilitate and hopefully eventually release them. CMA staff members will explore how sea turtles live, feed, nest and more! Members of the public will also learn important information about how we can all do our part to help protect sea turtles in the wild. Guests will also get to see real sea turtle artifacts!
“All About Sea Turtles” will include the following:
6 p.m. – Snacks/Welcome
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – Presentations by CMA’s Director of Education Joe Malo, Manager of Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Danielle O’Neil, Manager of Sea Turtle Nesting Mike Anderson and Fish and Wildlife Commission Biologist Rhonda Bailey
7:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Question and Answer Session
As part of this free program, CMA will host “Local Beach Ecology” Thursday, January 21, 2010. Visit www.SeeWinter.com for more information. Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a Florida non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to marine life rescue, rehabilitation and release.
