Adult Volunteer ProgramIf you are 18 or older and interested in volunteering at CMA, we welcome you to attend a Volunteer Information Session. Attending Information Session is the first step to becoming a member of CMA's volunteer team. During your Information Session, you will learn more about our program and the areas our volunteers help us in.
CMA requires volunteers to commit to a minimum of one shift per week for four hours. We require a minimum four month commitment. We do not offer short-term volunteer opportunities.
Volunteers currently contribute to the following departments:
- Marine Mammals
- Sea Turtles
- Aquatics/Water Quality
- Gift Shop
How do I Become a CMA Adult Volunteer?
If you are at least 18 years of age and can meet the minimum commitment requirements outlined above, you are eligible to apply!
Step 1: Download and complete the CMA Volunteer Application.
Step 2: Register for a Volunteer Information Session. You must register in advance by clicking the "Register Today" button. Walk-ins will not be permitted. You must register through the website to attend. A $25.00 application fee is due at the time of registration (non-refundable). Your application will cover a background check and your 1st uniform shirt if accepted into the program.
Step 3: Attend the Volunteer Information Session. Be sure to bring your completed Volunteer application. In complete applications will not be considered. Paperwork will ONLY be accepted at the Information Session, do not submit it beforehand.
