Clearwater Marine Aquarium offers group aquarium visits daily.

We ask for a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 60 participants per visit. Field trip visits consist of a theater presentation, question and answer session, and then a self-guided look at the aquarium. Allow at least 2 hours total for your group's aquarium visit.

The Group Aquarium Visit is a great way for students of all ages to experience the entire Clearwater Marine Aquarium! The visit includes a custom theater introduction presentation in our Bright House Theater including:
- Our NEW Virtual Tour – A sneak peek at everything your students can see and do at CMA
- Question and Answer Time with an Education staff member
Following their theater presentation and question and answer time with an Education staff member, students are free to roam the aquarium under the guidance of a chaperone. Please provide 1 chaperone for every 10 students. Unescorted students are not permitted. Any unescorted students will be taken to the front desk until a chaperone or teacher can accompany them. Name tags must be worn.
NON-EDUCATIONAL GROUPS: If your group prefers to not have the theater presentation and question and answer session, no prior reservation is required; your group may arrive at any time.
EDUCATIONAL GROUPS: We ask that for the self-guided portion teachers break their students into groups of 10 or less and provide 1 chaperone per group. Please allow 1 hour for the self-guided portion of your visit. Students may watch presentation if they choose, however reserved seating at presentations cannot be guaranteed. CMA does not have a lunch storage facility. Picnic benches are available on a first come, first serve basis.
