The “Winter, The Dolphin that Could.” DVD releases an inspiring documentary movie about a dolphin that “never says never.” This film recounts the true story of Winter, the tailless dolphin. The young animal was not expected to survive after her tail got caught in a crab trap. DVD documentation of her tail falling off in the aftermath and her recovery is included. This story will take you on an extraordinary journey through Winter’s rescue and rehabilitation, including never seen before behind-the-scenes video of her tail and her fight to stay alive. This is the first of our DVD releases.
The movie’s content also shares the story of how Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics stepped up to make Winter a one-of-a-kind prosthetic tail. The gell created for the sleeve of her tail is now remarkably helping humans with prosthetics walk comfortably.
