Winter Zone Cam 4
This is an overhead view of the Winter Zone habitat, where Winter, Hope, and PJ live together. You may see the animal care team on the platforms interacting with the dolphins. The Winter Zone habitat consists of three connected areas, so the dolphins may swim between the different areas. You can check the other webcam views if they are not visible in the current view.
During overnight hours, when the main lights are off, this camera view will switch back to the Winter Zone Cam 1 view, or you can select other webcam views from the channel list.
Winter was rescued in 2005 after being caught in a crab trap when she was only a couple months old. Winter could not survive in the wild but she thrives at CMA.
Hope was rescued 5 years and 1 day after Winter. Because she was a baby when rescued, she didn’t know how to survive in the wild.
PJ is also a rescued dolphin and was deemed non-releasable due to her extensive medical issues. She is estimated to be around 30 years old, is partially deaf and blind, and suffers from arthritis. PJ arrived at CMA in March 2019 and is currently adjusting to her new environment, where she will live with Winter and Hope.
