You will meet Thelma and Louise, our nurse sharks, and all their friends who share the lower mangroves habitat. You will learn about shark species and travel behind the scenes to participate in food preparation for your interaction.
Then you will meet with staff and be directed to the shallow water platform, to be briefed on the basics of behavior modification and the importance of husbandry. You may assist animal care staff with moving sharks to new locations and feeding them – it’s a true encounter as you see and hear nurse sharks suck food into their mouths and swim below you.
